Job Summary

Enterprise Architects (EAs) are strategic, client-facing members of the Stratascale Account Team. EAs are embedded in our strategic enterprise clients as extended members of the client's team and are seen as trusted consultative partners enabling their complex and strategic initiatives. They are trusted advisors focusing on understanding their goals and strategies and mapping Stratascale solutions to business outcomes.


EAs have a deep architectural understanding of the solutions and capabilities represented within Stratascale's five Centers of Excellence: Digital Cloud Solutions, Cybersecurity, Transformative Services, Digital Experience, and Automation. EAs are responsible for developing cross-functional strategies and solutions that bring together technical expertise, real-world experience, strong executive engagement skills, and an inspirational mindset to help our clients solve their business challenges.

 

This position is a remote position required to reside in the state of Illinois to support business needs as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to: 

  • Demonstrates leadership in managing internal resources to ensure that Stratascale’s recommended solutions are comprehensive, achieve client expectations, and meet business objectives.
  • Generates and nurtures relationships with clients ranging from executive leadership to hands-on-keyboard resources.
  • Focused on delivering a world class client experience.
  • Gain an understanding of the client’s business and technical landscape (inclusive of individual lines of businesses within the organization)
  • Build a strategic roadmap for near-term and long-term initiatives and develop an action plan to navigate that roadmap
  • Participate in account planning and execution.
  • Opportunity Management:
    • Act as liaison between client stakeholders and Stratascale subject matter experts
    • Translates the clients’ business and technical objectives into solutions.
    • Gather and analyze client requirements: EAs work with clients to understand their current challenges, business needs and requirements. They may conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather this information. Once they have a good understanding of the client’s needs, they partner with appropriate business units to design and architect a solution
    • Accountable to manage opportunities and engage specialty resources to drive multi-faceted solution development with a focus on services.
    • Create proposals and presentations: EAs work with client advisors to create proposals and presentations for clients. These proposals and presentations typically outline the technical solution that the EA has developed with BU Specialists, position Stratascale services and drive the development of supporting documentation, as well as the benefits that the solution will provide to the client.
  • Internal and External Education:
    • Keeping up with the latest technologies and trends: EAs need to have a deep understanding of the latest technologies and trends in order to be able to develop effective solutions for their clients. Ongoing training and learning to understand and position Stratascale’s service offerings.
    • Educate and develop sales teams on technical selling, product training, Stratascale services, and technology trends.
    • Set up briefings and education sessions with the client focused on their upcoming initiatives and challenges. The goal is to capture current state opportunities as well as be aware of longer-term strategies (3-to-5-year plan)
    • Working with other teams within the company: EAs often work closely with other teams within the company, such as business unit leads, marketing, and sales leadership. They collaborate with these teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the client (add services capabilities or adjust current offerings). They will also educate peers on new learnings, business trends, success stories, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word 
  • 7+ years client-facing experience working on one or more of the following complex technologies:
    • Cloud (Public, Private, Automation)
    • Security (Identity, Infrastructure/Cloud, GRC, DevSecOps)
    • Consulting & Professional Services (inclusive of Managed Services)
    • Application Development and Modernization
  • Experience supporting enterprise accounts required 
  • Familiarity with the RFP process

Unique Requirements

  • Travel required up to 50% 
  • Extended hours are required to complete some special projects 

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $175,000 - $250,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
