Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Cyber Security Consultant focusing on Incident Response to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the Incident Response field and demonstrate a solid understanding of IR processes and methodologies. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to further develop their expertise in a collaborative environment.

 

This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Assist in conducting incident response activities and investigations
  • Perform basic memory and disk forensics under supervision
  • Support the development and execution of IR plans and procedures
  • Contribute to threat analysis and reporting efforts
  • Collaborate with senior consultants and other team members to improve security measures
  • Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and trends

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in the incident response
  • Understanding of attacker’s tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Understanding of network and endpoint security

Required Skills

  • Solid experience in incident response and digital forensics
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with forensic tools and methodologies
  • Basic understanding of network security principles
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and threats
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset with a passion for cybersecurity
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Certifications Required

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or similar certification

Unique Requirements

  • Attend virtual customer meetings when appropriate  
  • Travel to customer sites, partner sites, conferences and Stratascale offices up to 20% annually  
  • Candidate will need to have access to an international airport

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $145,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
