Job Summary

Stratascale is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Cybersecurity PMO. Stratascale is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Cybersecurity PMO and lead the delivery of high-impact security projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the successful execution of network security architecture initiatives while ensuring alignment with Stratascale best practices and PMI standards. 

 

This role requires exceptional project management skills, the ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams, and experience managing complex security programs. A strong understanding of DevOps methodologies is a plus, as well as familiarity with change management strategies to support the adoption of transformational technologies.

 

The Sr. Project Manager will report to the Sr. Manager of Stratascale Service Delivery. This position is remote with a Home Office setup as determined by Stratascale management.

Responsibilities

Include, but not limited to:

  • Oversee multiple high-visibility cybersecurity projects with a focus on network security architecture
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering all phases of project delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations
  • Manage project scope, including creating and executing change requests as needed
  • Assemble and lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external engineering resources
  • Provide frequent, clear, and effective communication to stakeholders, including executive leadership
  • Foster strong collaboration between technical teams, account teams, and clients
  • Serve as a mentor for other project managers and contribute to continuous process improvement
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and roadblocks
  • Track, manage, and escalate issues as needed to keep projects on track
  • Implement change management strategies to support the successful adoption of new technologies
  • Support pre-sales efforts by evaluating requirements and providing guidance for Statement of Work preparation
  • Analyze and report on project metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvements
  • Work closely with clients to ensure smooth transitions and continued project success
  • Develop and Maintain detailed project plans with internal or external stakeholders
  • Direct time and resource investment affecting project budget and completion schedules based on statement of work 
  • Interpret deliverables from SOW and regularly update stakeholders on deliverable progress
  • Periodically review processes within the PMP for efficiency and completeness
  • Evaluate requirements and provide guidance in risk assessment, project scope and budget in support of Pre-Sales SOW preparation
  • Participate in PMO team discussions, reviewing active projects and collaborating on strategy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of direct client-facing project management experience
  • PMP certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)

Required Skills

  • Strong project management skills across Waterfall, Agile, and/or hybrid methodologies
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity projects, especially in network security, IAM, or GRC

  • Ability to interpret contracts, SOWs, and ensure compliance with delivery commitments

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PSA tools, CRM, and reporting platforms

  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently and drive complex projects forward

Certifications Required

If the certification is not currently held the successful candidate will be required to obtain the certification within 12 months of commencing the role:  

  • PMP Certification

Unique Requirements

  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies
  • Skilled in Microsoft Project Planning & MS Suite

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
